Stephane Waite enters his 6th season with the Chicago Blackhawks as the club's Goaltending Coach. Stephane has coached many current and NHL goaltenders (Marc-Andre Fleury, Nicholai Khabibulan, Cristobal Huet, Jocelyn Thibault, Brian Boucher, Felix Potvin, Jean-Sebastien Aubin) and many up and coming NHL prospects. Stephan is considered by many the TOP goalie coach in the NHL.
His approach to the position is unlike any other out there, as his list of NHL goalies continues to grow. Stephan takes a hands on approach to each camp attendee and along with his staff, provides the 1-on-1 attention you deserve!

Scott Oliver is a IHS and Minnesota coaching Legend. Scott has been working at IHS for over 15 years, helping to produce some of the top talent in the country. Having coached numurous championship teams, from High School to College, he has produced numerous NCAA Division 1 players and NHL Draft Picks over the last 5 years.
Scott's charisma and ability to teach young atheletes has been instrumental in defining the structure and education at International Hockey Schools.

Ben Zajac

Ben Zajac

Ben is currently the head coach of the River East Kodiaks High School Boys Hockey Team. Ben is an experienced hockey coach having coached teams in the MMJHL, MWJHL, WHSHL, as well as AA and grass roots community clubs. Along with his coaching duties, Ben conducts coaching clinics for Hockey Manitoba throughout Manitoba, hockey schools sponsored by Hockey Manitoba throughout the province, along with private hockey camps throughout Canada and the United States. Ben is a high school teacher by profession and currently scouts for the Selkirk Steelers Junior A hockey team.

Ryan Carroll

Ryan Carroll - Dryland Coach

 International Hockey Schools is pleased to announced the newest aquistion to our coaching staff, Ryan Carroll. As always, IHS' mission is to provide you the BEST camp with the most knowlegable staff. Coach Ryan will be taking over and re-vamping our dryland and off ice trainings for this year.
  Coach Carroll began his coaching career as the strength and conditioning coach for the Rockford Riverhawks, an independent league baseball club, in 2003. There he created a training program from the ground up that allowed the Riverhawks to be a top team in the Frontier League, as well as several players to be signed by Major League Organizations.
  After leaving the Riverhawks, he worked at the University of Tennessee where he helped to train the Volunteer baseball, football, and swimming teams. While at Tennessee, Coach Carroll worked with the number 1 overall pick in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft, as well as several top picks in the 2005 National Football League Draft.
  In 2005, Coach Carroll left Tennessee to join a Chicago White Sox staff that was instrumental in helping to win the White Sox first World Series Championship since 1917. While with the White Sox, he helped to make the White Sox one of the top organizations in MLB as far as least man games lost to injury.
  Coach Carroll received his Bachelors in Exercise Science from Marquette University and his Masters Degree in Biomechanics from the University of Tennessee. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting, and a Level 1 Track and Field Coach through USA Track and Field.

Jason Power

Jason Power

Having worked for IHS for the past 13 years, Jason has had the fortune to learn under Vladislav Tretiak as well as various coaches over the years. In 2005 he earned his Level 5 Masters coaching status with USA Hockey, with his the focus of his thesis paper on Goaltending. Having run goalie camps and clinics now for years around the midwest, Jason has become known to many as a task master emphasizing on repetition, economy of motion, and the mental preparation aspects of goaltending. Acting as a private goaltending consultant for two universities, various youth programs and high school teams, Jason has also trained many of the staff here at IHS over the years.

Brett Shelanski

Brett Shelanski

Brett played four years of college hockey at NCAA Division II University of Minnesota, Crookston. As a Senior, Shelanski was team captain, was named the University of Minnesota, Crookston Male Student Athlete of the Year, and won the Mike Davis Award for dedication and leadership in hockey as voted by his teammates. Shelanski graduated from the University of Minnesota, Crookston in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management and Minors in Coaching and in Business Management. Brett is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota.
